July 15, 2022 - For the third year running, Hughes Hubbard was recognized as one of the nation’s leading law firms for Art and Cultural Property Law in the Chambers High Net Worth guide, which focuses on the private wealth sector.

HHR’s Art Law practice was again ranked in the second-highest band among the top firms nationwide, acknowledged by market insiders for being “an excellent group” and “a pleasure to work with, as well as a “very knowledgeable group and very experienced.” Another source said, “They are fabulous. They are very quick to respond and very attentive. They give very wise counsel and are very experienced.”
 
Dan Weiner (Band 1) and Michael Salzman (Band 3) were also recognized. One industry source called Weiner “a force to be reckoned with,” adding, “He loves the art world and you can tell that a mile off. He is a great person to go to on technical matters and he is always available at the other end of the phone to discuss matters.” Another said, “He is quick on his feet and provides clear and practical answers to questions. He is very commercial in his approach, has excellent judgement and is very straightforward,” with yet another source saying, "He is very detail-oriented and a great advocate for clients."
 
One interviewee said of Salzman, “Michael is very methodical, very hard-working and very intelligent.” Another noted , “Michael is a great lawyer to deal with. He is very knowledgeable on matters.”
