Hughes Hubbard Partner and Alums Visit White House

George Tsougarakis and HHR alums Anastasia Danias and Vicki Andreadis visited the White House on April 4, 2016 for the Annual Greek Independence Day celebration and reception.
 
Approximately 400 guests representing the Greek-American community attended the event, which honored the 195th anniversary of the start of the Greek War for Independence (March 25, 1821).
 
President Obama, Vice President Biden and Archbishop Demetrios (the primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America) all delivered remarks.
 
Danias, who was an HHR associate from 1998 to 2000, is senior vice president and chief litigation officer at the National Football League; Andreadis, who was an HHR associate from September 2002 to May 2008, is senior vice president and assistant general counsel at Jefferies LLC.
