April 10, 2025 – Gaela Gehring Flores and Emilio Saiz have been recognized as Latino and Hispanic Leadership Award winners by Profiles in Leadership Journal.

The publication’s fifth class of Latino and Hispanic Leadership Award winners recognizes the unwavering commitment of professionals who have triumphed over challenges, served as mentors and demonstrated excellence in their professional endeavors and communities.

“My success is the manifestation of the extraordinary professionals with whom I have had the fortune to work, their dedication to me, and mine to them,” Gaela wrote in her profile. “Through all of the intense and challenging work, I strive to demonstrate through my words and actions my commitment and respect for my team, and to persistently show them that I have their back, as I know they have mine.”

Emilio’s profile discussed how grateful he is for the mentors that have helped to shape his life, both professionally and personally, as well as the importance of now serving as a mentor to others.

“It's amazing what can happen when you seize those opportunities and don't shy away from those challenges,” Emilio wrote. “You can only build a career a brick at a time, and it will turn out to be something different, and maybe better, than what you could imagine. So be grateful for your mentors and those opportunities, especially when things get hard.”
