Prior to Bill’s retirement, he was a partner in Hughes Hubbard’s Los Angeles office and a former co-chair of that office. Bill was particularly active in arbitration. He was a principal draftsman of the Conciliation and Arbitration Rules of the Center for International Commercial Arbitration in Los Angeles and was a member of the Board of Directors of that organization. Bill was also a member of the LCIA (London Court of International Arbitration) and a member of the Arbitration Committee of the U.S. Council for International Business.
Bill’s active litigation practice included handling consumer class actions, appeals and antitrust litigation.
