Tiauna Mathieu is an associate in Hughes Hubbard’s litigation department and serves as Chair of the Firm’s Black Attorney Affinity Group. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Todd E. Edelman of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Tiauna has experience drafting federal appellate briefs, taking and defending depositions, and arguing pretrial motions in federal court. She also has experience investigating allegations of corruption on behalf of global corporations across a variety of industries, including oil, air transportation, art, and commercial real estate.
Tiauna maintains an active pro bono practice, which predominately consists of her representing low-income defendants in complex criminal matters.
