Sahana Thirumazhusai is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Hughes Hubbard and Reed. She is a member of the firm’s Litigation department. Sahana is involved in the firm’s pro bono practice, working on juvenile immigration representation and gun violence prevention policy.
While in law school, Sahana externed for the Global Justice Center as part of the United Nations Externship program and worked on human rights policy issues. She was also a litigation intern at Everytown for Gun Safety in New York City.
Sahana received her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in 2023. She also attended Carnegie Mellon University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2019.
