Bertrand Koch is an associate at Hughes Hubbard & Reed's Paris office and a member of the firm's Global Investigations, Enforcement and Compliance practice. Bertrand advises multinationals on a wide range of issues, including conducting internal investigations, creating and implementing anti-corruption compliance programs and anti-corruption due diligence.
Before joining the firm, Bertrand spent 5 years at Flichy Grangé Avocats, where he developed dual expertise in criminal labor law and labor compliance. While there, he worked on issues raised by labor law and personal data protection (GDPR). He also assisted multinationals on issues relating to human rights, duty of care, and extra-financial reports (CSRSD, CS3D, duty of vigilance).
Bertrand is on the Paris Bar's criminal duty lawyer list and regularly represents clients before the criminal and commercial courts.
He completed several internships with leading Parisian law firms, specializing in both criminal law and business litigation.
He has also completed a number of internships with the courts, in particular, with the Office of the Public Prosecutor to the Investigating Division of the Paris Court of Appeals.
