Gregory Farrell is a litigation counsel in Hughes Hubbard & Reed's New York office. His practice focuses on complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation. He currently represents the Danish tax authority as plaintiff in efforts to recover proceeds of a $ 2 billion fraud. His past representations include Republic Airways Holdings Inc. and certain of its subsidiaries in their Chapter 11 reorganization proceeding and the trustee in the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) liquidations of Lehman Brothers Inc. and MF Global Inc., two of the largest bankruptcies in United States history. Gregory also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in voting rights, prisoners' rights and immigration cases.
