Salomé Garnier is an associate at Hughes Hubbard & Reed’s Paris office and a member of the firm’s Global Investigations, Enforcement and Compliance practice group. Salomé advises multinational companies on a wide range of issues, including conducting internal investigations and the development and implementation of anti-corruption compliance programs. Salomé also assists clients on anti-corruption matters in connection with European export credit agencies.
Prior to joining the firm, Salomé spent four years with the firm Navacelle, developing expertise in white-collar crime and regulatory defense, internal investigations and compliance. In particular, she assisted a French group with a PNF investigation into corruption. She has gained experience in defining strategy and implementing internal investigations for French and foreign companies, and has contributed to a World Bank Monitorship. She also has expertise in compliance and exequatur of arbitral awards.
Salomé also has experience in general criminal law and has been on the Paris Bar’s list of Public Defenders list since January 2023, intervening in particular during police detentions, immediate summary trials, plea negotiations, and preliminary investigations.
She also gained experience in international arbitration during internships with various international law firms.
