Evan Cooper is an associate in Hughes Hubbard & Reed’s Washington, D.C. office in the Litigation department. He is currently assisting on a broad range of matters, including within the Arbitration, Antirust & Competition, and White Collar & Regulatory Defense practice groups.
Evan also maintains an active pro bono practice, including immigration law representation, Freedom of Information Act requests, and policy research on gun violence prevention. He is also co-chair of HHR Pride, the firm’s LGBTQ affinity group.
Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard & Reed, Evan was a legal intern at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in the Consumer Protection Division, and at the United States House of Representatives, in the Committee on Oversight and Reform. Evan also worked as an assistant to Professor Noah Feldman at Harvard Law School and as a legal assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
