David Tannenbaum is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation department working primarily with the Global Investigations, Enforcement and Compliance and Sanctions, Export Controls & Anti-Money Laundering practice groups.
David also maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting with projects involving immigration law, international human rights law, and gun violence prevention initiatives.
While in law school, David was a judicial intern for the Honorable Reggie B. Walton at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He was also a legal intern with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey and the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice. Prior to law school, David worked at Schrayer & Associates, a political consulting firm in Washington, D.C. and on Capitol Hill.
