Catherine L. (Cathy) Marcrum is a senior analyst in Hughes Hubbard’s Litigation Department with more than 16 years’ experience in complex product liability litigation. She has extensive experience in the research, analysis and dissemination of information from disparate source materials into readily understandable work product for counsel and client. Her educational background and prior work experience in the field of history enhance her strong investigative and analytical approach to placing critical information into the proper context for use in developing and refining litigation strategy from early case discovery and throughout trial.
Cathy has extensive experience in the collection, review and analysis of client records, and the development and maintenance of materials relied upon by counsel during all phases of litigation including written discovery, pre-trial motions and trial support. Much of her work has focused on the development and preparation of witnesses for deposition and trial testimony. Cathy has also assisted counsel with the identification and analysis of source materials and the development of various regulatory submissions to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Cathy holds a Master of Arts in History from Missouri State University and is a past recipient of the University’s Chairman’s Award for outstanding achievement in research and writing. She is also a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honors society.
