Alex is a partner in Hughes Hubbard’s Paris office. He advises corporates, private equity investors and investment banks on complex and innovative securities offerings including IPOs, rights offerings, and investment grade and high yield debt offerings. His work covers more than 20 markets including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Greece, North Africa and the Middle East. He has advised on over €50 billion in securities offerings since 2017.

Gaela is Co-Chair of Hughes Hubbard's International Arbitration practice group in the Washington, D.C., office. She has over 25 years of experience focused on representing both multinational corporations and sovereign states in international commercial and investment arbitrations. She has handled over 60 high-stakes international disputes before some of the best-known investment treaty arbitration institutions, as well as before private international commercial tribunals. Gaela also demonstrates a commitment to pro bono services through her work with immigrant and undocumented communities.

Daniel is a partner in the Global Investigations, Enforcement and Compliance practice group. Based in the Paris office, he represents large multinational clients on a range of issues, including the design and implementation of anti-corruption compliance programs, conducting internal investigations, and undertaking third-party due diligence reviews. Daniel has overseen large internal investigations and represented clients under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice, the UK Serious Fraud Office, and other regulators.

Jeremy is a partner in the Washington, DC, office of Hughes Hubbard. He represents clients in a wide range of industries on compliance with trade sanctions and national security-related matters, with particular focus on U.S. economic sanctions. Jeremy regularly advises clients on whether certain relationships and/or transactions are prohibited and/or sanctionable under U.S. law. Jeremy spent most of his early career as a lead sanctions investigator and analyst for the Office of Global Targeting within the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Eleanor is counsel in the Washington office of Hughes Hubbard. As part of the firm’s Arbitration practice group, Eleanor has significant experience in both investment treaty arbitrations and international commercial arbitrations under the ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL, SIAC and LCIA Rules. She has represented both investors and sovereign states in arbitration proceedings and has served as Tribunal Secretary.

Sean is counsel in Hughes Hubbard’s New York office and is part of the firm’s Corporate and Finance group, with a focus on commercial aircraft finance.

Mathieu is counsel in Hughes Hubbard’s Paris office and is a member of the firm’s Global Investigations, Enforcement and Compliance practice group. He advises clients in matters involving the French Sapin II Law, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the UK Bribery Act, international anti-corruption laws, corporate governance and compliance, corporate social responsibility and human rights.

Walter is counsel in Hughes Hubbard’s Washington, DC, office and is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Equipment Finance Group, with a focus on commercial aircraft finance. He has experience in a wide array of structured equipment financings, including securitizations, syndicated credit facilities, warehouse facilities, sale-leaseback transactions and restructurings.
